Even after sacrificing their bodies to literally create the next generation women are still expected to do the overwhelming share of housework, child-rearing, often while working full-time jobs. Despite this, our culture still feels the need to shame women for looking less than perfect.
Meanwhile men are responsible for 99% of all violence, from domestic abuse, to street crime and war. We usually don’t pull our weight in the home, but still we expect to be taken care of on a daily basis just because we have a penis. In reality, it’s women who do the heavy lifting in life.
We can do so much better. Be sure to tell the women in your life how much you appreciate them and what they do, take good care of them as much as they do you, and do your fair share around the house. Just imagine for a moment how awful life would be in a world without women.
